People we need to FOCUS our message
The repukes have us all over the map, with memos, swift boats etc. This election is about bush and the job he did. So let us focus the online debates, water cooler chat etc on just that.

bush's accomplishments

He allowed the worst terror attack in the history of the world to
occur on US soil.

He turned a record budget surplus in to a record budget deficit.

He failed to capture OBL.

He attacked a Iraq over WMDs that didn't exist and he has allowed
that invasion to turn into a quagmire that is sucking down our brave
men and women and billions of our tax dollars.

He has turned the whole world against us.

He is the first president since Herbert Hoover had the great
depression to actually LOSE jobs on his watch.

1. The Excuse President
He's done all that, and he blames everybody and everything but himself.

3. What about gay marriage
Why doesn't that make your list? Bush is trying to pass a Constitutional Amendment banning it, but you don't think it's important enough to stand up to him on it?

4. That's not what the OP said, is it?
If you have further mistakes you think Bush has made, blame BUSH, and add them to the list yourself. Don't blame the OP here.

5. I am blaming Bush. Did you see what happened in Louisiana?
Thousands disenfranchised by machines that didn't show up to allow votes. Yet hardly an issue being raised today. There will be lawsuits over this, you can't just ignore it as if it didn't matter.

6. So you feel we shouldn't focus our message?
Is that what you're saying?

I don't really understand what your position is vis a vis this thread.

There are obviously about a million screwups and bad things going on in the Bush admin. The OP has said, as a campaign tactic, to get the votes, FOCUS THE MESSAGE on a few of the big ones.

You seem to be saying that wrong? I dunno.

7. So we should focus the message only on what you say and ignore
other concerns? Is that it? Only you get to decide what the message is? Why can't the message be focused on what others consider to be important as well.

Forget it, I don't want to get in a fight. We should be uniting against Bush, not attacking each other just because we have different priorities to focus on.

8. Whatever
"I" haven't "chosen" anything, even though you keep using the word "you" to imply that I am doing that over your objections, but I do support the OP's idea that keeping the message focused on a few significant issues is good strategy.

As to which issues, I think Kerry is the best one to choose, and the rest of us should hit hard on those. Most of the ones on the OP's list are Kerry's points.

This doesn't mean the others don't matter. It's a strategy, not a statement on what's important to each of us individually.
