Rasmussen 3-day tracking poll has Bush 48%-Kerry 46%

In Premium Data the news is even better, nationally. Before rounding the numbers, Bush is at 47.8% to Kerry's 46.1%, so the lead is only 1.7%. With leaners, the numbers are even closer, with Bush's lead less than 1% at 49.3%-48.4%.

Just released Premium Colorado numbers have a small Bush lead at 46%-45%. In the Senate race it has the same margin for the Repuke, Coors 49% to Salazar's 48%.

Now, on a personal note, I'm going to belatedly celebrate my Birthday of yesterday by going to some friends' house to eat shrimp, prosciutto, cheese and drink home made wine. We will watch a hell of a double-header, The Red Sox vs. the hated Yankees at about 1:00 PM, followed by our beloved Patriots at Arizona at 4:15 PM. As a result, the New Hampshire update at 3:00 and the five state update at 5:00 may be a little late today.

I'm hoping for a trifecta this year. Patriots' Super Bowl victory, Red Sox World Series triumph, and President John Kerry.

And who says Democrats aren't optimistic.

3. It's odd

That we don't hear about this (and other polls) in the news, yet the media goes balistic over polls that show Bush way ahead, but at the same time overweight Republicans to create a huge Bush lead.....

4. The Colorado numbers mirror two other polls this week

Now three polls are showing Colorado too close to call--with one-point Bush leads. I really feel optimistic that we can take the states 10 electoral votes.

Another poll gives Salazar a 11-point lead, but that it is as close as it is, is encouraging.

5. The poll is WAY off concerning Coors-Salazar race

As another poster noted, a poll released yesterday by the Rocky Mountain News shows Salazar with an 11-point lead. And that lead is solid. Salazar is very popular among farmers/ranchers in Colorado because he's helped them with land and water issues, as Attorney General.

Moreover about one third of the respondents link Coors with beer, and Salazar with Attorney General.

Very dubious PC poll.
