3. A three point lead is nothing. If we are down only three points the day
before the election, we will win. Turnout will far exceed any model of likely voters the polls are now using.

I take this as reasonably good news. It is not as good as being ahead, but it is nothing to be discouraged over.

and by a margin of more than 2-1, they're DEM registrations.

Now barring the Diebold Conspiracy....

5. i still don't understand how bushco owns the WOT.
it's my understanding we have more IRS and customs agents making sure people aren't sending shampoo and toothpaste and asprin to their relatives in cuba than we have CIA agents actively looking for OBL? and here's john kerry, the man that led the charge in uncovering the iran-contra connection. now who do you trust to get the son of a bitch that master minded 9/11? someone who still thinks castro is a threat or a dude that gets something done?

i just don't get the american public and how easily we're sold a cheap ass flashy bill of goods.

and lord i hate phone banking. back to the mines on monday, i spose.

10. Cause the media is not doing their job. Mo Dowd apparently gets it today.

Re Bush/Cheney administration: "These guys are about turning the world upside down, and saying it's right side up. And that should really give security moms the jitters."

Let's hope Maureen Dowd has broken the ice and the media herd will follow her lead!

11. If you follow polls, look at pRes. approval ratings
That was said on NPR this a.m.

I remember seeing a graph of * steadily declining approval ratings.
This week, he goes to the UN, and Kerry is expected to come out swinging hard.

Watch shrubby's approval ratings drop...and Kerry's numbers rise!

13. I predict headlines in November will read...
Bush clings to the rug in the oval office as aides pack up his belongings.
