Is the Obama Admin Caving? ... or is it the media trying to squash this?

So I go away for a week, come home to hear that President Obama and his administration all had spine replacement surgery and evidently .... they used jello for the new spines?

I need an update because what I'm reading is unclear. First I read that, yes, he's caving and nobody cna figure out why because the Dems don't need the Repubs to pass this damn thing!

Then I read that this is not true and that Pres. Obama is still out selling the PO.

So what's the real deal? What gives?
