I don't know how Pres. Obama does it...
Edited on Tue Aug-11-09 03:16 PM by Drunken Irishman
Honestly, if I were him, I'd probably stand up in front of the American people and tell them to go fuck themselves. If they didn't want healthcare reform, they weren't going to get it and then I'd probably, in my spiteful evil ways, say the government was going to end medicare and social security - 'cause, you know, we can't have government healthcare.

I just can't cut it as a politician.

I don't know how he does it.

1. He didn't become a community organizer as a stepping stone
to the Presidency; he became President so he could accomplish what he couldn't as a community organizer.

12. excellent point.
Well done.

I keep saying the same thing. He doesn't have a dog in the fight. Doesn't own oil companies or defense industries, etc. None of the usual conflicts of interest.

2. I can go into a very long and boring narrative
as to how he does it, but, a simple explanation, he is passionate about what he
does and has said it on many occasions, now, whether people believe him is
another matter.

As long as you love and enjoy what do, the rest is easy which makes a huge
difference as to someone who is doing it for selfish reasons, can't beat that.

3. And, that's why
we elected him the President..to get things done.

The forces of facism are strong and we need someone like him who has the intelligence, humor, and compassion to go up against the stupid enemies of America.

AMerica doesn't even get smart enemies because the smart ones want what's best for her.

for the rest of us.

6. It's really quite easy to explain. He knows Americans want health care reform...
...and more than 70 percent say so. He's armed with the facts, the other side isn't. Hell, I could do what he's doing right
now! ;-)
