Answer to nutjobs whining about Obama raising the national debt
Show them the below chart. (Original from http://zfacts.com/p/318.html)

Point out that the national debt actually went down during recent Dem presidents and up dramatically during recent GOP presidents.

Ask them where was their outrage when Ronnie and both Georges were putting their grandchildren into debt. How many town hall forums did they disrupt then?

5. Interesting article
Pay-Go was in effect during the Clinton Administration, but lifted during Dubya.

Of course, the right-wing nutjobs claim the budget surplus under Clinton was a delayed outcome of Ronnie's policies.

6. I don't like the horizontal line under Obama. It is just confusing. How can his name be
contemporaneous with George F Bush?

11. Perhaps the reason for the horizaontal line is...
...that a vertical line to separate Dubya from Obama would overlap the vertical graphline indicating the sharp increase in debt under Dubya.

10. Well the national debt is my #2 concern after renewable energy
and I knew W was going to fuck it up and that is why I so dearly wanted us to win back the White House.

Seeing as how we already spend so much more on health care than everyone else and get worse results, it ought to be possible that we can cover everyone AND save money, but Obama has not proposed a plan that will get us there.

We ought not to be drowning our future in debt. Debt is the way to a loss of control and the tool for others to make us bow to them. I HATE DEBT. HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT.
