on so many levels because they're either morally bankrupt (and are banging teen hookers, buying meth, or taking bribes) or not intelligent enough to comprehend they're being used by the leaders in the party to tow the corporate line.

I don't like a lot of what I see come out of the White House, but I'm much more unimpressed with the lack of progressive backbone from the corporate whores in the Senate (primarily) who destroy all true change that will help the people. We need to not be helping or funding the 60-80% of Democratic senators who don't fight for the people, the environment, stabilization of the world.

So very let down with this Democratic majority Congress...

So let down, and I'm sure President Obama didn't think he'd get this particular level of resistance (even knowing there would be some) from his own party in what was an unequivocal landslide progressive victory - and yet, the corporate bastards still retain power within our legislative branches because of the corrupt.

1. Why couldn't these fools get something concrete out before recess?
It's completely ridiculous that they went on vacation and left this important issue in such a precarious position. Congress has put health reform -- and Obama -- in an incredibly bad spot.

The Repukes now have free reign over the issue. They are inventing whatever insidious plan they want and calling it Obamacare. Then they take their fake plan and rally against it, as if it's something truly being considered congress. It's a great way to get brainless mobs against something. It also has the side effect of completely tarnishing the idea of Obama's reform to the point that having an honest conversation on the issue becomes very difficult to have once the real plan takes shape later this year.

2. Sometimes I think the biggest share of the blame lies with the American people, for not
rising up en masse and burning shit down and sending these fucking worms in Congress fleeing for their lives. Why do we put up with this shit?
