AP: "Ark. crowd mocks lawmakers over Obama health plan"
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An unruly Little Rock crowd heckled and shouted at two Arkansas Democratic congressmen Wednesday, accusing them of supporting a government-backed health plan that would take away Americans' personal choice and freedom.....blah....blah....blah.

Here's the link: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090806/ap_on_re_us/us_health_care_overhaul_ark_2

Here's what's important: NOT ONE SINGLE TIME IN THIS "NEWS REPORT" DID AP BOTHER TO MENTION THAT THIS "UNRULY CROWD" WAS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND IT'S BIG BUSINESS OVERLORDS!

1. That may be true
but it does highlight one thing: Democratic Congresspersons from red or even purple districts and states will be facing massive opposition on the issue of healthcare this month.

Chris Matthews made an interesting point on his show last weekend. Congresspersons take vacations, just like anyone else who makes a decent salary and is away from their family for months at a time. They're going to be vacationing with people of upper incomes, who might just have their ear over the next few weeks.

It might not be pleasant after Congress gets back to work in September.

3. They're going after Ross? Good god, they're ignorant.
Ross has been one of the key figures BLOCKING healthcare reform.

hurting themselves and we have to appear the rational ones in this debate to win it overall. THe middle will more be impressed in us keeping our heads than to be ruffled by these people and that's where it counts. McCaskil is correct, rude on their part is not pursuasive.
