President Obama is headed next week to Montana
Maybe, just maybe Max Baucus will finally get his act together.

HELENA - President Barack Obama will be visiting Bozeman next Friday, where he's expected to hold a "town hall" meeting on health-care reform, sources told the Gazette State Bureau today.

The White House declined to confirm the president's plans, and state Democratic Party officials also had nothing to say about it publicly.

However, officials in Bozeman confirmed that Obama plans to visit the area next week.

2. isn't he supposed to be taking a month long vacation about now?
Does Montana have brush that needs clearing? What's with all this working in August?

I hope he gets some downtime while he's there to visit Glacier NP.

6. And Then He's Going to Leave Rahm There to Bury the Bodies
I read an article a couple of weeks ago about the WH staffers plans for vacay and I think it said that Rahm and the family would be in Montana. But now I see that's just a cover story B-)

7. Could A Deal Have Been Cut?......
Baucas gives in to Obama and gives him a 'public option' and Obama campaigns for Baucas.

Could it be?

12. This would be Obama sticking it to Baucus
It's also clear that much of the upper West is ripe for the picking. Obama's smart to head up there, pump up Tester, put pressure on Baucus, and make an early play for the state.

10. He should be O.K. in Bozeman.
But I worry for his safety whenever he goes to a Red state.
