Coincidence that all the cop "leaders" at today's press conference
were all middle aged white men?

As I watched these middle aged white men whine about what victims they are, I thought of two things. First, I thought of Sarah Palin, who never passes up a chance to portray herself as a victim, and second, I wondered how many officers on the Cambridge Police Department are African-American?

4. So we know there's at least one.
But the question is about the makeup of the Cambridge Police Department. What percentage of Cambridge Police Officers are black? 1%? 5%? 12%?

That question was not asked at this press conference and I should hope at least one journalist would've asked that question.

2. Yup
All they do is defend each other, even when they know damn well they're in the wrong. It's the "brotherhood". I wondered myself why there was no black leadership in their police represented.

10. I wonder how many bullies and racists...
... go into the police force only because it would give them the right to beat people up and get away with it?

And I think it's even more plausible that people who like to drive too fast might become cops because they could speed to their hearts' content and get away with it. :freak:

13. I worked alongside cops...many good ones but overshadowed by
a few...

Some become arrogant but learned to hide it cleverly...many have NPD

8. They will all stick together and deny anything
It seems they are backing off some maybe they don't want a big investigation.

12. yep, its common for them to bond against a supposed attack & they probably all would have arrested

Gates because it's the "cop way"... you get irate with a cop - you risk a high chance of getting taken downtown for disorderly - is that fair? NOT AT ALL. Is that factual - yes.

15. "Political Tiger" suits you well
You are such a "political tiger" you forget that not everyone puts people into groups like YOU do.

You are part of the problem.
