Jill Biden to have orthopedic surgery

The Associated Press

Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, will have orthopedic surgery Monday to relieve shoulder pain.

Mrs. Biden will have the outpatient procedure performed at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, the White House said Sunday. The vice president will accompany her to the hospital, and the Bidens plan to spend the rest of Monday and Tuesday at their home in Delaware.

2. Jill Biden has good health insurance....
I'm sure. She doesn't need my "good thoughts." And I'm sure that with bankster-bud hubby, she has good credit too, should she need it.

4. Constant nastiness gets some people nowhere in life
Just because you have good insurance does not mean you don't want other people to as well! I have good insurance but if other people suffer and we pay for it in other ways then what is the point?

7. Even with good insurance, it can be painful
My own insurance is ok, but it still cost quite a bundle for my shoulder surgery. It seemed like every department in the hospital sent a separate bill.

Then, the physical therapy was almost completely paid for, but even so, damn it was painful. Also, when the PT payments ran out, I continued the same exercises, and they were still painful. It was about six months before I could do a single pushup.

So, money aside, Jill has a bit of struggle and pain ahead.

Yes, it would be nice if we had single-payer health care so none of us would be financially hit by a surgical procedure. But that's not the case, and is not likely to be the case in the future. We voted in a centrist president, not a leftist.

Best wishes to you Jill.

:hi:

12. And just when you think you've paid them all,
another obscure bill shows up. Our health care system is so inefficient.

19. Ow! I've been there, at least with my feet.
I've never had shoulder problems, but I was born with club feet, had to have multiple surgeries on them, and still have problems with them, that might require surgery on one in the future.

22. She might be having what I had last April,
to relieve impingement syndrome. Within 6 months I regained total movement and I don't even think about it anymore. :hi:

Let's hope our Jilly gets better soon!
