My Final Post Regarding the Unrec Feature

I think it has shown at least one good thing about Democratic Underground. That we can all agree that Freepers are the Dumbest and Lowest life on the planet. The post that highlighted the racism of FreeRepublic in a recent front page article got well over 500 recs. And you can be sure there were freepers (there still are) infiltrating this site and trying to unrec that thread. Despite their attempts, the recs on that thread show that, while we have differences, they are not big differences and that we all are on the same page about the truth.

I sense the exposure of the racism that is engrained in FreeRepublic will expose deeper troubles for the conservative movement as a whole. I don't think anyone here was surprised at their racism, but finally, there is some light being exposed on the roaches. And Americans are revolted by what they are seeing.

just with not as great a number of Recs. DU has to be about more than the number of Recs a thread gets.

They are almost entirely strategic and tactical in nature, and 90% of it has to do with how much a person personally trusts President Obama's hand on the tiller.
