The main thing about the bill it's making Republican governors go down in flames. Every Governor opposing it or refusing to spend it properly are falling under their own obstruction. So is the stimulus bill working yes, in more ways than we can imagine. And once their done with their nonsense more of teh money will get out there. So, the lesson here for Republicans don't oppose President Obama or any Democrat trying to help for them it's not a winning formula. I'll go out to get more popcorn as more Republicans go down under their own form of crazy.

2. I think all our governors are doing the best they can in tough times. At least accepting ..

the stimulus dollars compared to stopping any assistance getting through. Each of of Democratic Governors will be facing their own state level Republican obstrution so local citizens have to ensure stimulus dollars are getting out their by ads or pressure. The fundamental factor is the Bush regieme left a massive mess in every state underfunding most states due to his unnecessary tax cuts for the rich. Which only means state level had to rise. Their just need to be a bigger campaign to make more people aware that federal and state spending is the only way out. Once the jobs get out there the states can start stablizing their budgets but they have to get stimulus out there or tthere have no government to work in so lord only knows how GOP strategy works. The main thing most states must look into is state run banks works for ND the most financially stable state. Maybe consult ND on how they do it and regulate it but it means they can loan themsleves at sensible rates and stay afloat.
