Mr. "Nice Guy" took a hike today. Perhaps the App Trail. In the meantime
his alter ego straightened a few things and people out. As much as I think the WH Press Corpse is irrelevant, they do receive a paycheck and therefore ask the stupid. The POTUS did NOT say: "I won this friggin election, you did not. Take care of your Senate duties and let me do my damned job." "Major, you're an idiot and annoying. I shall respond in the same tone you address me."

I like this alter ego guy too. He has found out he does not get rewarded for being bipartisan, amenable or nice. He has little or no patience for the stupid, which was out in full force today. Good on you Mr. President. Remind them who is the Boss..

4. He needs to do this a lot more often.
People respect someone when they stand up for themselves and the Republicans have had it coming.

5. "He has found out he does not get rewarded for being bipartisan, amenable or nice."
You say this as if he's some naive person who doesn't know how politics works. You don't get to where he is by being naive. He already knew that there is no political reward for bipartisanship, but more importantly he knew that it's something the media latches on to and the public likes in theory. So you offer a hand and show people that you are attempting it (and that's the reward). If they slap your hand away the public now knows who to blame for the lack of bipartisanship.

9. Well only a naive politician would just now come to this realization.
"He has found out he does not get rewarded for being bipartisan, amenable or nice."

11. so "He has found out ... " means something different now?
nitpicking this is not. language matters.

"He has found out he does not get rewarded for being bipartisan, amenable or nice."

If he didn't know that (and if you felt he knew that you wouldn't need to say it) then he's naive.
