What a friend had to listen to when talking to her cousin's UberFreeper husband

A friend of mine was visiting her father in Nashville and went to a family party where her cousins and relatives were there.

Her cousin is a reborn Christian as well as her family members. Nothing wrong with that.

Her cousin's son was recently fired for questionable behavior as an accountant for some Baptist mega-church in Arkansas. The cousin's son's wife is a "professional prayer giver" at the same mega-church he was fired from. Her cousin's husband, an unemployed, injured Vietnam veteran, is a diehard Palin supporter and was wearing a "Sarah 2012" t-shirt at the party. He also had this to say to my friend when she mentioned she had been to DC for the inauguration.

Apparently, according to this guy, there are at least 500 space aliens arriving on the planet monthly and they are fitting into society seamlessly. Since the World is going to end in 2012, they are getting ready to take over the planet. He has seen visions and shares them with his son and daughter-in-law (accountant and professional prayer giver). The space alien saga is "on a lot of Vet sites on the internet". He has been approached by people who say that they have been watching him for thirty years and want him to join them... they are satanic and want him to stop believing in God.

Now for the funny part, as if that wasn't enough.

According this guy, Obama is a space alien. As people like the Holocaust Nazi Van Brunn believe, "there are no official records of Obama" that are public. Obama is part of the eventual takeover of space aliens in 2012 when the End Times happen "because the Jews..." When asked if Obama is the Anti-Christ, "no, he is more powerful than that".

Wow, more powerful than the Anti-Christ? That's like... powerful! :crazy:



Oh...and the End Times and 2012. He's for Sarah Palin to run in 2012 because she will help bring him and all the "Believers" to Heaven because Alaska is near the top of the Earth and that's where God will be first.

I asked my friend how he was speaking when he was telling her all this crap. She said it was in a low, almost tranquil voice, as though he had repeated it all many times and had shared it with other people in some little town in Arkansas, where they all live.

These people look "normal". No funny clothes, no strange facial contortions... they walk among us all. I can only think how dreadful it must feel to actually believe that stuff and try to get through a day.

If I had been there, I would have said "excuse me, but I have to go back to Planet Earth..."
