Jesse Ventura on waterboarding "I'll Get (Hannity) To Say Obama Is The Greatest President"
Edited on Fri May-22-09 11:27 AM by Richardo

Jesse Ventura, the former Minnesota governor and presidential candidate, vows that if he waterboarded Sean Hannity, he'd get the right-wing Fox News host to say that "Barack Obama is the greatest president."

<snip>

Ventura says that Hannity cut short his interview with him before they had a chance to discuss waterboarding because he's afraid of the former governor and pro wrestler.

"He's scared to death of me," says Ventura. "It was over in a few minutes and that was it."

Ventura offered his own version of Keith Olbermann's vow to give a thousand dollars to charity for every second that Hannity undergoes waterboarding.

"I'll bet a thousand bucks that I can get him to say 'Barack Obama is the greatest president' -- if I get him to say it, he'll give the thousand to charity and if I can't, I'll give the money to charity."

....which goes to a serious and often overlooked aspect of waterboarding - it's designed to elicit FALSE confessions, not REAL information.

2. Jesse Ventura is my new hero.
Seriously, a guy who goes on Hannity and scares him so much that the interview is cut short is a fucking god.

5. Well, technically it's designed to get the person to say whatever you
want him to say, true OR false. Since the victim will confess to a falsehood as readily as to the truth, that makes ALL confessions suspect.

The one thing it is NOT likely to do get get a confession of a truth that the waterboarder does not know before the waterboarding began, a fact which makes the waterboarding redundant at best.

7. Wanda nailed it
you could "break" Hannity by giving him a center seat in coach.

Like 99.9 percent of blowhard conservatives, the man is a coward.

8. That was a great line
I'm not a big fan of Jesse V, but I love to watch him continue to call these cowards out.

I hope at least one of them agrees, and they tape the whole thing. I don't think Mancow is a big enough draw for most 'Murikans to want to watch.

13. I'd rather see Hannity and Ventura go at it in the ring
So Ventura can tear Hannity to pieces. One could only dream I guess.
