How can Cheny attack a sitting president in a time of war?
How I hate our "liberal" media. If the roles were reversed, the dems would be being eviscerated for attacking the country's leadership in a time of crisis.

In fact, think of what happened to anyone who dared question Bush's judgment after 9-11 and the invasion. Your patriotism was questioned if you didn't even where a flag pin.

I think debate is vital to a democracy, so I don't think the GOP should be silenced, but let's have a little perspective.

1. In his speech, Dick even remarked on all the support he and Junior
could count on at one time.

2. How many weeks did we have to put up with that flag pin fiasco
But never a day of why did you ignore the Clinton team warnings of the impending attack of 9/11...

3. In the right-wing view ONLY Republicans can be patriotic...
...and ONLY Dems can be unpatriotic ~ they are delusional and sociopathic.

4. Yes, but the problem is how the media is so complicit
in advancing this story line.

8. GE ---> NBC
General Electric is one of the world’s top three producers of jet engines, supplying Boeing, Lockheed Martin and other military aircraft makers for the powering of airplanes and helicopters. The “war on terrorism” has seen GE’s military contracts rise substantially.

http://www.publicintegrity.org/projects/entry/297/bio.aspx

They don't want terrorism to subside. They don't want a safer America. It's simply not profitable.

Election? Fuck the election.... didn't need one in 2000 or 2004, so why does it matter now?

20. This is unprecedented
Imagine if Charles Curtis, Hoover's Vice President was attacking FDR.

There would be PLENTY of eyebrows raised.

But the modern-day press thinks that it's just fine for Cheney to slander Obama.
