Tracking important legislation
Seems to me one thing DU is lacking is a central place to track important legislation, the lack of one makes it easy for things to fall through the crack and its needed just for general information. I've read post recently by people who were still unaware that a DADT had already been introduced and it's one of the most discussed issues right now. It made me wonder how many people even know where this bill is now( Military Personnel Subcommittee) or who chairs it (Susan Davis). I think this is especially needed for items that aren't as talked about, but still are very important such as:

HR 35 the Presidential Records Act of 2009 and HR 872/S 487 the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act which would codify into law Obama's executive orders from earlier this year. The Freedom to Travel to Cuba Act, State Secrets Protection Act, S. 417 and I'm sure people could add others that they think need attention.
