Republican Congressman and Senators know that they are atleast 12 years away from committee chairmanships.

2. I'm one of the few libs who actually like this appointment.

I really like Huntsman. I lived in Utah when he was first elected, and was surprised he wasn't heinous. He's probably one of a handful of sane Republicans left, and if they'd let people like him in charge, the party would have a chance again. Thank god they're too stupid to realize this.

But if you understand the Republican landscape you have to understand that his accepting that position is even more telling than Senator Specter's change of party.


If your a serious minded Republican and you want to have a significant role over the next 10 years you are not going to be running for national Republican office, its a waste of time.

and bullies.

We as Democrats need to take them on more directly.

We seem to know how to take on our own but we don't seem to get right in Rushballs space and tell him off!

Let's know who is the real enemy and from what I'm hearing it is not Huntsman.
