Dishonorable people do what they think is right even though they know it is wrong and then insists they are innocent.

An Honorable person would gladly accept their fate knowing that they did what they honestly believed was the right thing even if it was against the law.

They all talk of honor and dignity and yet they have none of either.

Like a school child who is hiding the chalk behind his hand while denying that he wrote the teacher is a Dotty boy on the board, the Bush Cabal aren't even ready to accept the consequence of following their own ideology.

2. Yup - if the torture-mongers truly believed that torture was necessary in those cases...

They wouldn't hesitate to admit it, and throw themselves on the mercy of a jury, explain the ticking timebomb nature of it (supposedly), and all that.

The fact that they hide is proof sufficient that they know this not to be the case.
