Anyone see Matthews corner GOP asshat Mike Pence yesterday on evolution?
Matthews was talking about the Repuglican Rebranding efforts and basically said it was the same old crap by the same old faces being regurgitated and spit out like bad pizza.

When he had asshat Mike Pence on, he took him to task on the usual claptrap these people keep saying about the "future".

What was absolutely hilarious was where Matthews kept asking Pence, a theocratic numbskull, what he thought about evolution. Pence, being the spineless wimp, kept saying he believed the God this, God that, God and animals and the oceans at sea and fiddle-dee fucking dee... but would never answer Matthews on whether he believed in evolution or not. Clearly, this is the kind of "GOP leader" we should be happy to have try to fool people that they are a "new party".

The video is a must-see:

2. Yes. It was a beautiful thing. I never expected it from Tweety.
When he really went after him in such a logical way about science and global warming and evolution, my jaw dropped.

3. Tweety is often a loopy fool, but ...
he also was the product of a really good Catholic school education. He has the skills to set forth a logical and well-reasoned argument, when he takes the trouble to use those skills.

8. He's *always* a loopy fool, and does much more harm than good.
This may be one of his few good moments.

9. Pharyngula, one of my favorite blogs, discussed this.
Unfortunately Matthews was an epic fail during his following interview with Tancredo.http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/

10. One thing Mathews needs to do, is learn how to shut his yap...
he always interupts people, and half the time, the individual is about to hang themselves...he is about as rude as they come.

7. Yes, I posted it yesterday. Pence couldn't say he believed in evolution for
fear of offending his wingnut base.
