Not bad, Mr. President.

Sorry but I can't post the cartoon itself due to either their code or my ignorance. It's worth a peek! (on edit: I got it from another site. WooHoo!)

Steve Benson is the editorial cartoonist at the Arizona Republic.

4. I had to test it and it failed. Sorry, just had to see what it did.

8. I know...
sometimes I can figure out how to fix the code, but not this time. No worries -- I found it on another website. It's a great cartoon! I like it almost as much as this photo from TIME.

15. He does look rather spiffy...
...in that 'shop.
The grey suit, hat and specs suit him somehow, at least in an aesthetic sense.
Just needs to lose the cig and cig holder...that looks a bit affected for this day and age...
nevermind the fact that he's joined the 'unhooked generation'.

Yes, I'm old. Get off my lawn. :P

16. I like how both Benson and Time show him channeling FDR.
The both inherited similar problems.

Yeah, and I don't like the cig bit either but how else would we get the FDR comparison? It looks like a prop. From one old fart to another.

9. Benson is good.
Have you noticed the AZ Republic is using fewer of Benson's cartoons.
I guess they don't like the fact that he's generally liking Pres Obama.

10. I have noticed that.
It could be. Today's editorial was interesting -- said Obama "fosters optimism."

I do like seeing Benson on Friday's Horizon, when he's on that is.

11. He's done the most in his 100 days - and will have the first 60-vote Senate majority - since FDR
The cartoonist knows his history.

14. rofl! That was perfect. The DNC should adopt it as their 2010 campaign season logo.
Thanks for the link and the OP. :hi:
