I wonder what Dean could mean by that, given that the "far left" is gone? What are the implications for the Clintons and the other "Democrats" that he's distancing himself from with that statement"?

3. Personally I think he meant exactly that - He is the head of the true Democratic Wing of the Party.
And does anyone wonder why he wasn't given a role in the Administration because of it? The DLC is very strong in the Obama Administration and there are few true progressives in the bunch!
