Gingrich: Cheney 'clearly right' that America is less safe

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Newt Gingrich said Monday that former Vice President Dick Cheney was "clearly right" to suggest that the country faces a greater threat of terrorist attacks with President Obama in the White House.

In an online Q&A session with Politico, Gingrich was asked: "Do you agree with Dick Cheney's assessment that we are less safe under the Obama administraion?"

"Dick Cheney is clearly right in saying that between the Court decisions about terrorists and the administration's actions the United States is running greater risks of getting attacked than we were under President Bush," Gingrich responded.

3. Why are we still hearing about Newt Gingrich, many years after he's been
out of Congress? Why is he treated as relevant? I can't figure out why the media sucks his dick like he's somebody.

11. Yes, we were much safer under Bush, because
uh, because Bush didn't have a pre-9/11 mind-set after 9/11! After ten blocks of lower Manhattan were destroyed, Bush connected the dots--once he realized what the dots were and that they needed to be connected, because otherwise 3,000 people might have died! Plus, he invaded Iraq, just as FDR invaded Argentina after Pearl harbor!

Jesus. The wingnuts are PRAYING for another big attack. Unbelievable.

13. My neighbor was a little sad after the election
He said "well at least bush kept us safe." He didn't appreciate my response: "not as safe as Clinton did."

15. Yes, that's what I can't understand
about Republicans who think "Bush kept us safe." Bush did NOT keep us safe. But they parrot the talking point ad nauseum like it is FACT.

17. Right-wingers just repeat that mindlessly......
Bush certainly didn't keep us safe on 9-11, and he didn't keep our troops safe in Iraq.

7. The longer Cheney stays free, the truer that statement becomes.
That man belongs in prison. Period.

His name belongs on a list with the likes of Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Pol Pot, and Kissinger.

Because that would improve their chances in the next election cycle, don't you know. Jesus. What scumbags these people are.
