He has the whole world in his hands, literally, and it is both both moving and inspiring. A president who has a world view that endears this country to other nations.

This is amazing.

3. I'm still pinching myself.
I've never been this proud of a president; even JFK.

6. I'm delightfully surprised
Today we don't feel ashamed or embarrassed of who represents us! Today it's good to be an American on this planet. The way the Obama's are comporting themselves in the world is making us friends and influencing nations in all the right ways.

And they are shining before the world!

7. Think back to when they were all lining up for the debates, with their podiums
and the flags behind them. Fine Men and Woman, all.
WE PICKED THE RIGHT ONE.
I'm watching the town hall meeting in Strasbourg and am proud beyond measure.

8. I'm getting used to "swimming" against the current of the positive feelings that
President Obama elicits in me.

Also, my husband is a Libertarian corporate attorney, so he yanks my chain whenever I let him.

10. .
No he's not perfect.

No I don't agree with some of his policies.

BUT

I AM PRETTY DAMN PROUD OF MY PRESIDENT! I love that the world loves him too. It will go a long, long way to repairing our global reputation.
