1. Sure. Didn't believe in it at the time, either.

2. The air cleared a little with the exodus to CapitolHill,
Now the fumes are thicker. Smoke rises.

4. Once read a story about football player who became depressed after his team won the Superbowl...
He found himself picking fights in bars to fill the void
that was left from the end of battle.

11. Agree with you but I think a lot of them were TS, unless they coming
back as puppets. The Primaries were brutal. However, I have noticed a lot of President Obama bashing since that place closed down.

What the fuck they want him to do in two months? His own party people are not supporting him, sigh. Democrats always shoot themselves in the foot if you ask me! They just not accustomed to winning and taking the bull by the horns! Another big sigh.

3. Hold the presses - President Obama makes decisions (and will) that many here do not like, not sure
why anyone would disagree with that.

As I continue to contend - the very people we cannot stand from the right who had their noses so far up *'s arse and though he was the greatest president ever, have an eerie similarity to several that do the same thing with President Obama. He's just a man (a great man but just a man), and he'd appreciate me saying that. To those that treat him like a god, I feel for them, they do not disagree with anything he does and that is a bit scary.

Just wanted to say that again.

GOBAMA!

7. Constructive criticism is fine, but it's gotten to the point where it is becoming destructive
But I'm the type that tends to look more at the bigger picture,
as opposed to those that focus more on single issues.

promises in 60 days than dipshit ever did in 8 years"

9. Totally agree with your sentiment
It's getting so out of hand here. It's really quite surreal (and depressing) how so many people seem to think that Obama has either failed to change anything and/or horribly betrayed us and therefore is essentially a failed President after only 60 days in office. Geez!!! :eyes:

10. There's no argument if you disagree with him over a particular policy issue.
It's the hyperbolic bullshit that is getting tiresome. "Oh, he's a TRAITOR--a duplicitous politician!! He LIED!! I will NEVER trust him again!" That kind of bullshit. Disagreement is one thing, drama is another thing entirely.

He didn't lie, people didn't listen. He's been pretty straightforward, and if he modifies a position, he explains the hows and whys.

Rome wasn't built in a day. He's not even getting his lousy hundred days. Gee, no one expected anything out of Bush until...oh, September 12, or so....and he took his sweet fucking time, too, didn't he?

13. How could I forget!
In fact, it feels like we are in an election now.

It seems that every move the President makes,
is a reason that someone uses not to vote for him....
the only difference is that they have to wait 4 years,
and they don't know who's gonna be running against him.
Makes it all kind of sureal!

14. Frenchie, seems as though the Primary season is back again, but
us who really support President Obama will have to put some people on ignore if we wish to stay sane. Don't have any right now on ignore but you are sure right, no matter what good things our President does, somebody is going to find fault. We just have to stay strong and ignore the fault finders.

I remember posting a 'let it sink' and got really bashed. Guess we have to 'let it sink' again!

Love your baby picture, cute as a button!

15. WWOD?

Really, if a younger B. Obama was a member here, what would/wouldn't he say about a current president?

16. It's the "Subject Line" folks....
The Subject Line is almost always worded so as to attract other bashers and invite them to leave their often hateful comments, as evidenced by the fact that, in many cases, the thread morphs into a very scary circle jerk of un- or mis-informed judges waving their pitchforks and screaming for revolution. Kind of difficult to let these posts sink. Scary too.

And why on earth would anyone want to bring that particular bit of nastiness back?
