He's meeting and surpassing my expectations on a lot of issues. And where I do have some issues or concerns, I feel he earned and deserves the time to address them properly since most of the concerns are on nothing definitive but being considered as a last resort. The theme of persistence is something that rings true with me. I think it was a good thing that Obama made that an explicit component of the national dialogue.

And getting over the need to conquer the "other" side is a theme that transcends the history of nations, cultures, tribes, families, brothers, and sisters.
