Anyone catch David Gregory mention the teleprompter?
What a tool. Brian Williams asked him his thoughts, and Gregory just had to get that in there. He was subtle in that he was just talking about how "on message" Obama was, but he just had to get that damn talking point in there.
13. I put two complaints on the MSNBC website immediately
How will we spend $trillions? How will we solve our economic crises? What about the explosion in health care costs?
None of those things matter to David Gregory. He had to work in a right wing talking point about a teleprompter. All presidents use teleprompters. Why on earth is that news?
I told MSNBC they should ship Gregory to Fox where he belongs.
Criticize the content....mention (as Chuck Todd did moments later) that there were no bank bailout questions.....but jesus to be so blatantly peddling a right wing talking point right out of the gate.
And I'm the least conspiracy minded anti MSM person out there. I think most of what people complain about is looking for boogeymen where none exist.
So when I notice something like that it's pretty fucking blatant and bad.
..it's a criticism that originated in and is only being discussed in the right wing talk radio vacuum, yet it's the first thing mentioned by David Gregory a supposed independent mainstream journalist and host of Meet The Press.
24. I don't get this teleprompter thing. What is the big deal?
Don't they all have teleprompters? I know Bush had them and I bet Bill Clinton did, too.
They are really reaching with this IMO. It's like complaining because the guy has notes on the podium. How bizarre. These press people are out to lunch.
