I was with some mentally challenged people when someone innocently called something "retarded", and the look on one of the girl's face was not a good one.

To be honest, I like the local programs, baseball and soccer, that they did for the kids better than the special olympics. Good organization but they had problems with kids with behavior problems. The challenger league we had locally was better for autism plus it was totally run by the parents.
