Let's lower the bar: "Obama has kept us safe, we have not been attacked in two months"
Seems like the bar for the last guy in the office was that he kept us safe and we did not get attacked during his term (except for that 9/11 thing). Thats what his supporters say when asked WTF about all of the other things he screwed up.

Maybe that is the problem with judging things right now, we need to lower the bar to correctly compare things apple to apple.
