BREAKING - DOW Is UP! CNBC Attributes This To Limbaugh Scratching His Ass
Edited on Tue Mar-10-09 11:21 AM by Median Democrat
And since he has so much ass to scratch, the DOW is expected to continue to rocket up today!

Robert Gibbs responds: "We are not focused on the day to day fluctuations in the DOW. Instead, we are focused on the country's overall economic health. Plus, eventually, even Rush is going to eventually run out off territory to scratch."

1. I was wondering about that it couldn't be anything
the President did, did GWB have anything to do with it?

4. No, it was all because of Reagan. All good things show Reagan's genius, and all bad things
are the result of devious machinations of Democrats.

3. A poster yesterday sugested that the next uptick in the market
would be accredited to McCain having his monthly bowel movement. It looks like he took a big one.

5. I have yet to hear any mention on the MSM that maybe Obama's actions are causing the rally
IMO the stem cell executive order is putting everyone (except the "no" party of course) in a good mood.

11. they will NEVER say that. they are too busy with the meme that
obama is doing too much and scaring the markets. but frankly, no matter what he does they will find a way to blame him for the markets and for everything else. let's forget that it took YEARS to get us to this moment. but somehow obama is supposed to fix it overnight.

btw.... obama NEVER said it would be easy. he always said it was going to take time and a lot of work to get things right again.

6. It's the Rush Ass Scratching Index!
Almost as predictive as the Bill O'Reilly Self-Annointing Measure and the Sean Hannity Hairspray Turgidity Market.

Praise be, I've become a capitalist!

8. well, if the uptick of the DOW is a direct response to Rush scratching his ass, we are in for
quite some time of prosperity ... there's a whole lot of ass to scratch ...

9. What I find amazing...
...is that the pundits are attributing the DOW's increase on the positive comments of
Citi's CEO.

Ok, aren't these the same guys who lied to us and told us everything was peachy-keen--and
then everything tanked into hell within the month?

Are people stupid?

10. Go to MSNBC's web page. It's being attributed to CitiGroup's CEO saying that the bank is now
operating a profit, thanks to the tens of billions it got in TARP money to help it wash away bad debt.

They will be able to pay the federal government quarterly dividends and eventually pay back all that TARP money, plus interest.

12. huh?
