I've heard this a few times today-that Obama's approval rating is no better than Bush's and just about the same as the last several presidents. Yeah-but Obama has accomplished so much in these first weeks compared to Bush-and some very controversial legislation at that! Could you imagine what BUSH'S approval would've been after 6 weeks if HE tried to do anything so soon? They fail to mention this.

1. Six fuckin' weeks!
Why can't the media, and by extension the general public, give the President a chance? He has actually done more in six weeks than bush did in eight fucking years, unless you count destroying the entire world as doing something.

2. Let's not forget bush's ratings were in the toilet
on September 10, 2001 until they let 9/11 happen because they were either asleep at the wheel, on permenant vacation from stopping terrorists, or both.

3. Beating up the President
and downplaying his success and popularity are part of the "story" the media is developing at the behest of their corporate masters.

I'm waiting to hear about how widows and orphans are the main victims of the stock market crash, not huge multinational corporations and mega-rich individuals.

It is bullshit from first to last, but bullshit for a purpose

I leave it to others to guess what that purpose might be
