Should we regard this recession as a capital strike?
When Francois Mitterand was elected as France's first Socialist president in 1981, the leading French corporations basically suspended operations and pulled their assets out of France, forcing Mitterand to abandon all his principles and govern as just another Gaullist.

Granted, Our President is not a socialist. Still, it appears that OUR "malefactors of great wealth" are determined to stop him.

Is this really a recession, or are they deliberately trying to bring President Obama down by bringing the economy to a halt?

If so what do we do?

Seems like we need a grassroots fightback strategy, workplace by workplace. What do you guys think?
