Limbaugh Blasts Steele: If I Were GOP Chairman, I'd Quit
Limbaugh Blasts Steele: If I Were GOP Chairman, I'd Quit
By Eric Kleefeld - March 2, 2009

Rush Limbaugh isn't happy with Michael Steele, who insisted that Rush isn't the leader of the Republican Party, but is just an "entertainer" whose work is "incendiary" and "ugly."

Greg Sargent reports that Limbaugh positively lambasted Steele on his radio show today, even seeming to suggest that the new RNC chairman should resign in shame: "I'm not in charge of the Republican Party, and I don't want to be. I would be embarrassed to say that I'm in charge of the Republican Party in a sad-sack state that it's in. If I were chairman of the Republican Party, given the state that it's in, I would quit."

4. more fallout from Obama calling out Limbaugh. Yeah. Obama wasn't wise to do that
he raises Limbaugh up too much...gives him too much profile, etc.

Uhhh.....considering the bloodletting going on between the normal Republicans and the hate mongers....I'm liking what Obama has set in motion.

5. Limbaugh only knows how to tear things down
Here are these GOPers trying to rebuild their party (with stale ideas that have been resoundingly rejected by the electorate) and they don't have much chance of any meaningful progress, but just in case, Limbaugh is slapping them down.

I've said in the past that the GOP is not going anywhere, but I may have been wrong. This is electoral suicide.

Rush is so narcissistic that he doesn't have the perspective to see he's being set up. Michael Steele has made enough silly remarks that no one is sure if he should be taken seriously, add to that the general disarray in the less crazy Republican facet. The Republican party doesn't know which end is up. And just like Republicans have been doing to Democrats for as long as I can remember President Obama's team keeps repeating what they want the public to believe....pretty soon Rush IS the leader of the Republican party, even if the less crazies don't want it that way.
