Mika loves Rush

First of all, for all people who will tell me to stop watching Morning Joe, I literally had this on for one minute. I have for the most part stopped watching Morning Joe all together, and it's done wonders for my mental health. Chuck Todd was saying that Democrats are trying to turn Rush into the "straw man", like how Republicans tried to say that Michael Moore represented all Democrats. The problem with his argument is, how many Democrats have to call up Michael Moore and offer "apologies", like that Repub who dared suggest that maybe Rush does not know the scope of the legislative process? Isn't it more the exception than the norm for mainstream Democrats to not throw perceived icons of the left "under the bus", when it is such a rarity when it happens with Rush (Colin Powell, Chuck Hagel) that it gets a lot of coverage in the mainstream media?


Keep it in mind, Rush had made fun of the fact that Mika had been mugged on his radio show. So leave it to Mika, who is practically the spokesperson of the Battered Wives Club, to say (after first saying that maybe it wasn't the most "productive" speech for Rush to make at CPAC) "Don't get me wrong, I LOVE RUSH. I LOVE HIS COMMUNICATION SKILLS. I think he's a GREAT THINKER!"

Pat Buchanan thinks that the White House and labor groups trying to make Republicans choose between Rush and Obama will not work, because "Moderate Republicans....Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, we're all together. Before, I had given Obama too much credit, blaming it on Nancy Pelosi, etc, but I was wrong. With this budget, Obama has DECLARED WAR on conservatives!"



First....is he calling Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabees "moderates"? THat's what it sounded like, but hopefully he wasn't. Secondly, when he says "declared war on conservatives"...uh, you mean, being a Democrat, Pat?

I can't tell the difference between MJ and "Fox and Friends". Why not just merge them? I hate it that I can't look at MSNBC until 9 AM. (I will not watch MJ, even for one minute.)

It was on the same channel fox news was on in NYC at the time. I forgot that all the stations changed so I always thought it was Fox.

It was one of the reasons she was let go from CBS, because her conservative bias was starting to seep into her reports.

The whole "Mika a is liberal" thing is an act thought up by Scarborough so she can play Colmes to his Hannity.

It's very obvious....when I watched regularly, she was always complaining about her taxes, etc. Besides the fact that she rarely disagrees with Joe and hearted Sarah Palin. I hate how the NYT etc markets the show as a "conservative and liberal"...why not just be honest?

Huh, so they were playing her off as a liberal?! Her dad appeared more a liberal to her conservative whenever he was on. I never saw her as a liberal and she always seemed proud and in your face about being a Conservative.

In every article I've read about the show (NYT, NY Observer,etc), Mika is definitely marketed as the "liberal". I'm not sure why the network feels that they need to perpetuate that myth.

I don't know if she's supposed to be neutral or not but she has made it VERY clear she's a Palin fan. She was showing them all to the camera for close-ups while bragging about them. Remember during the GE she used to wear her hair like Sarah's? She even SAID so!

The thing that gets me is Joe always "teases" her for being "in the tank" for OBAMA, also saying that she is "on the left" to balance them out. :eyes:
