Officer Calls Obama 'Usurper,' 'Imposter' President (Military.Com)
February 25, 2009
Military.com|by Bryant Jordan

Using words such as "imposter" and "usurper," an active-duty Army officer in Iraq has joined a California lawyer's lawsuit intended to force President Barack Obama to prove he is a legal U.S. citizen, and therefore able to legally serve as the commander in chief.

"Until Mr. Obama releases a 'vault copy' of his original birth certificate for public review, I will consider him neither my Commander in Chief nor my President, but rather, a usurper to the Office -- an impostor," 1st Lt. Scott R. Easterling states in his letter published at Defendourfreedoms.com.

An Army spokesman told Military.com today that officials are aware of Easterling's letter.

"We are taking a look at that ourselves right now," Lt. Col. Christopher Garver said. "We are always trying to balance our ... military requirements under the Uniform Code of Military Justice versus critical freedoms that all Americans enjoy" ...

why? Because we have Senators doing the same bullshit. This is dangerous and we need to take it seriously than discount it as people ranting and raving. These people are getting enough recognition they're in the damn news.

14. He is not enlisted.....
He is SUPPOSED to be a gentleman and officers are not enlisted. Officers are commissioned.

This guy seems to have joined just to make trouble. In the military you are not allowed to talk trash about the Commander-in-Chief. Whoever is letting him do this is just as guilty as he is. He should already be thrown in jail, as well as punished with failure to show, failure to follow a command from his superiors as well as having Obama come down and say "I Won!" to his face.

But still, he cannot not be insubordinate or disrespectful to the President.

He signed on the dotted line and now doesn't want to honor his contract.

17. Obama's mother was born in KANSAS
It doesn't get much more American than that.

If you read the story, this LT was a contractor with KBR, then enlisted when the Army raised the maximum age to 40.

I also object to the military's "handling" of these incidents within the ranks (this is not the first). If an officer had said something similar to this during the Bush years, he/she would have been staring at an immediate Court Martial.

18. The Lt. Col. is being polite.
They're trying not to make a stink about it, is what they're doing. Because using that kind of language, and refusing to recognize presidential authority, constitutes grounds for court-martial, probably on charges of sedition.

for education benefits, etc. or if he won't do that court martial him for insurbordination.

It isn't his job to practice democracy, it's his job to defend it.

If he wants to complain about Obama, he needs to do it as a civillian.

26. Important Things to Note From the Article at the Link
"If an officer actually believes there has been some misconduct by the president, Tully said, there are ways he could have responded.

Under Article 138, he said, any person can bring an allegation of misconduct by a commander through the chain of command, "though I don't think has ever been used to allege misconduct by the president."

He may also have tried reporting his allegations under the whistleblower protection act, Tully said. But the Defense Department directive on that spells out the inspector general and the Congress as the places to take allegations, he added.

"People in the military ... have rights protecting them for reporting misconduct, but there are strict procedures," Tully explained. "And joining a civil lawsuit and calling the president of the United States an imposter is not one of those avenues."

This LT is well and truly fucked...

The birthers either claim that:

1) He was born in Kenya, not Hawaii
2) He was born in Hawaii, but lost US citzenship when his mother married Lolo Soetoro, (note, under US law it is impossible for a minor to lose their US citizenship)
3) Is a citizen, but not a "Natural Born Citizen" due to the fact his father was not a US citizen. (note, not supported in US law)

While killing people in Iraq in an illegal war? Where was it when an election got decided on the Supreme Court? And another stolen election in 04. He'll be Rush's next hero and doing interviews getting his 15 minutes of fame. These assholes should again think about Hillary and if this were true we would have President Hillary Clinton today. I mean Bill is an ex president who has the know how and the people who could have brought this to light if it were true. They would have finished Obama off after the first debates with all the dems before everyone got to know him. If the Clinton's couldn't find it no ones gonna find it.

2nd U.S. soldier in Iraq challenges eligibility
Says issue could decide if 'we are a Constitutional Republic'

Another U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq is joining a challenge to President Obama's eligibility to be commander-in-chief, citing WND's report on 1st Lt. Scott Easterling, who has agreed to be a plaintiff in a lawsuit over the issue, as his inspiration.

"I was inspired by 1LT Easterling's story and am writing you to inform you that I would like to be added as a plaintiff against Obama as well if you feel it would help your case," said the soldier, identified for this report only as a reservist now on active duty in Iraq.

-----

The second soldier wrote, "I am an Army reservist who was activated last August and am currently serving with a military police battalion in Camp Bucca, Iraq. I will be here until at least June 2009."

He continued, "When I enlisted last year I had to show my birth certificate, as well as my driver's license, high school diploma, college transcripts, social security card; I also filled out loads of paperwork to include listing the names, addresses and phone numbers of my family members and had to answer any questions regarding foreign travel.

"I think it is reasonable for Obama to prove his citizenship status thus certifying his eligibility. I too raised my right hand and swore an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States," he told Taitz. "I believe the case you are filing could very well determine if we are in fact a Constitutional Republic or a nation of mob rule. I would be honored to be a part of your efforts."

Maybe he has forgotten but the military is not a Democratic organization, it has military rules for specific reasons. To speak out like this against the President while in uniform leads to mutiny among the ranks and this is why it is not allowed. Totally unacceptable.
