I found an
article with a synopsis of Obama's reception around the world. It really got me thinking. These international papers must play a major role in shaping opinion in their countries, because their citizens have few easily accessible resources on US policy. Is there a way to help correct some of the misleads and inaccuracies to reports on the speech.
Obviously it would be impossible for any paper to explain everything that was happening, but some of the portrayals struck me as very one sided, even when it was sides I agree with.
I started leaving comments in the comment section on the articles. I don't know if many people read those on the English versions of international papers, but I thought it might help. Does anyone know of good non-Western papers that might have an interesting perspective on Western events?
