Raygun had it wrong & repukes "don't get it"
"In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem."

WRONG! - Government is WE THE PEOPLE

Abe Lincoln said "and that government of the people, by the people, for the people,"

So when repukes don't want government involvment, they don't want the PEOPLE to participate in governance... they want the greedy businessmen to run things!

1. the repubs are greedy, greedy, greedy
they will bend like the wind to support any economic plan that puts more dollars in their pockets.

They do not believe in paying for anything - let someone else pay for it. The are nothing by greed. Their party is built around greed. They vote for whomever can feed their greed.

3. You can't govern well if you don't believe in government!

It's like having 2 chefs compete - one is a french chef and the other a vegetarian chef and the meal is Chateaubriand steak - the vegetarian chef most likely cannot make it as well because he doesn't believe in it!

Obama is trying to get the citizenry involved - which we ALL should be!

4. Deconstruct the statement:
The government is the problem.
The people are the government.
Ergo, the people are the problem.

That is in perfect accord with Republican 'principles'.

5. Exactly....
They don't want the people involved! And when they are in power, they do a LOUSY job of governing!
