"When my political director spun his lap-top around to show me I was part of the final Dean Dozen, my involvement in the political process came full-circle.
Like all of us, I was inspired by the Governor. He gave me hope that one day (soon) we could return the power of government to the hands best equipped to hold that responsibility. That is why in July 2003 I held a Garage Sale for Democracy to make money for a booth for Governor Dean at my local county fair. It was a start, but I decided it wasn't enough for me."

The ride to the Capitol is a roller coaster. Along the way, I have learned just how challenging it is for the average American to run for office. I don't have rolodexes full of rich power broker friends many challengers and all incumbents hold; I am an American who knows what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck, get laid off, and go extended periods of time with inadequate or no health insurance at all. That is why I am running for Congress, because too many Americans share those experiences...."
Jeff is a Kos poster and advertiser, and they also raised good money for him. Good luck to him.
