Central PA: Record Voter Reg - Mostly Dems
Centre Daily Times (State College, PA) reports that voter registration increase is roughly double what it was for 200 Pres election. Centre County is primarily GOP, but gap is narrowing due to hue voter registration numbers for Dems in this election cycle.

My opinion: Heavy new Dem registration in a GOP county? That smells like ABB crossovers. Not good news for Bush.

County voter registration heavy
Driven by a bitterly contested presidential race in the nation's second-largest swing state, Centre County residents are signing up to vote at almost twice the rate of the last presidential election...

1. goes with what I see
Everywhere I go (in Montana), I meet people who have not voted for years who are planning to vote Democratic this year. Turnout is everything. When 50% do not vote, even a minor trend to this effect makes a huge difference. Yes, I'm obsessed, but even minor comments on the state of the world gets people talking, and many are not happy with current affairs.

3. From what I hear about Lebanon County,
heavy repub area where I live, also heavy democratic registration. Also, last election signs all over for *, not so this year. They are around, but very sparse.
