I just got done reading the Salon interview for Col Burkett from back in February. Apparently he was alone near the trashcan that the Bushies were using to cull the documents that were to be disposed of out of Dubya's personnel records, and, in his words, actually had time to rifle through them before leaving the site.
My question is this: If he actually took the documents, copied them on another medium (i.e. Word processor), and then released them, would that be as bad as releasing these documents without authority from the military? Is it possible that they were transposed to keep Col. Burkett out of trouble and would it matter?
