2. The right-wingers across the street from me have the flag out 24/7/365.
Right through the wind & rain, ice storms, etc. The thing is getting pretty bedraggled by now, rather like our country, which has also been left in taters by Republicans.

First, they mistake the symbol for the reality, as always. Then, they disrespect the symbol.

Sheesh.

PS. Actually, they moved out about a month ago, leaving behind only a "For Sale" sign. And, of course, the flag.

I had an old wooden flagpole & it was pretty bowed (not quite a "C" yet but a good "parenthesis" anyway). My new flagpole came with a new "doodad" but the old one is so covered with paint I didn't even attempt to change it. So I have a spare if your arms get tired.
