7. Not hearing much from the Dem leadership on ANYTHING.
What the fuck are they doing back there? Busily stepping out of the way so the republi-CONS can get to the cameras and mics?

:banghead:

They ARE INDEED snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory.

What is With our people??????

6. What's up with this BS?! I'm sure those ballots were rejected for a very good reason.
Never underestimate the ability of a judge to let the Rethugs steal an election.

8. I want ALL the votes counted. If that means Coleman wins, so be it.

10. Thank you; it's nice to hear that
The most deplorable thing about the 2000 election was how few actually gave a damn about having the will of our fellow citizens respected. Same thing with the attempted Colorado redistricting, the successful ones in Mississippi and Texas, the recall of Gray Davis, and lest we forget, the two-term hounding of Bill Clinton.

We're supposed to make our various cases and then abide by the will of the people.

I remember sitting in a cafe when still in college, counting the results of the 1980 election, and being shocked by two facts: even if he'd gotten all of Anderson's votes, Carter still would have lost, and that 4 out of 5 white males had voted for Reagan. I was disgusted and depressed, but I felt that they'd won it by the rules and they deserved our allegiance out of a communal respect for the society. Those who only want what they want are missing a simple bit of morality.

9. Relax ...
All this means is that they are going to reconsider 4800 ballots that have already been rejected for not complying with MN election law. The chances are that few, if any, of these ballots will actually get counted for either candidate.
