I'm just asking. I'm still disappointed with the Gregg pick.

How many heads will explode here if Obama picks a Republican for this post?

How many Republicans will that make in his Cabinet?

3. I think it will cast a large cloud over Obama's admin esp his first 100 days if he
choses a republican for HHS. I think it will send the wrong message to the Democrat base who is paying attention to what Obama is actually doing. It will be very bad. The honeymoon will be over.

8. Oh, because we don't have any reason to anticipate being disappointed YET AGAIN.
Is there a reason that you're posting here so provocatively on an sore subject?

10. Who is "we?"
Not all of us are disappointed with everything Obama does. It's not like Obama didn't tell us that he was going to reach out to the other side. He's doing exactly what he said he was going to do.

Hell, maybe if Bush appointed a few Democrats to his administration the last 8 years wouldn't have been pure hell.

Hey, I hate Republican's as much as the next guy, but 2 or 3 Republicans in Obama's administration is not enough to sour me on President Obama.

7. Chalk one up for the Republicans. Health Care for all is the
bane of their existence. They knew Daschle knew all their
tricks.

With the GOP, the attack (Taxes) is never the real agenda.

Obama had best find a true believer with a spine to head HHS
or we can forget Health Care. This is the GOP Agenda.
