Take a look at what the market is paying for Treasury securities. The US government is currently borrowing almost for free. This is THE best time to deploy a massive stimulus package.

3. Things couldn't be playing out better even if Obama himself wrote the script.

The funny thing is that the "economy" essentially HAD to get this bad in order to make all of his campaign promises affordable. Investors are running away from other parts of the market and throwing their cash at the government to hold nearly free of charge. Now, the Obama Administration is free to significantly invest in America at low cost -- done properly, the return will be equally significant.
