Breaking on MSNBC: Consumer Confidence at Lowest Point Ever
since 1966, when they started keeping market records, due to massive layoffs and the stock market near-collapse. Home prices fall 18.2% in one year.

I'm quite confident my spending will be limited to the essentials until our income keeps up with the increase in prices.

What's there to be confident about? I'm only confident that we are royally screwed and there's no end in sight in the foreseeable future. I read today's WSJ, big mistake. Too damn depressing.........
