3. Ya know....
they were both right. This SP needs to be chaulked full of infrastructure and/or retooling.

It's time to start making some noise about this. Big time. As was said by Sirota, we've got one shot at this...one....and we can't waste it on tax cuts.

4. I'm getting disappointed in Obama
He seems to be too busy trying to be Mr. "I Ended The Bipartisanship In DC", to realize that the Repukes are NOT going to cooperate, and that the people did NOT elect him to yield to the MINORITY party. :(

10. I think that he has to put in a good faith effort
When push comes to shove, he knows they are not going to cooperate, but no one can say that he didn't try and when the american people have to speak their minds again at the ballot booth, he and every other democrat will have a long list of times where the republicans could have signed on and did not. And I hope it is on all the things that end up making things better.

11. Maybe he meant it to be this way....
Just a thought (or maybe I'm grasping at straws).

Obama has said that he hopes to get the package passed by the middle of Feb. That's a lot of time to formulate it. Sirota suggests that the time element bodes well for positive change.

Maybe O is playing the repubs by letting them say what they want in it (tax cuts), better yet, he's let the country hear what the repubs want in the package.

Now, what do you think the people in the country are wanting. A tax cut, or would they rather see thousands of building projects springing up around the country, gov help to get their kids to college, "New Tech Center Breaks Ground" "Proposed Solar Panel Company Finds a Home in Former Warehouse Eyesore" in the headlines?

Maybe O's giving them just enough rope.

We've got about 3 weeks.

that Keith and Rachel are going to continue to be our best media watchdogs, no matter which party controls the White House. I think that they should be required viewing across government.
