the senate finance committee has approved Geithner by a vote
of 13 to 5. I think the floor vote will be later today.

My error, but I took that subject line to mean that he had been approved by a SINGLE vote! What a relief!

I'm nowhere as enthusiastic about Geithner as I am about Holder for example, but Obama has given me good reason to trust his judgment. I urge all others here on DU to think that over, and hold off on unseemly ankle-biting (for a few weeks at any rate).
