Hey, why not make it after death, too? Wamp is running for Governor of TN. Dog help all the residents of that state if this moran is elected.

I live east of you, then. My congressman is Jimmy Duncan. He's also a Republican, of course, but at least he had the sense to vote AGAINST the Iraqi War.

actually challenging the brain all through the life-span is a really good idea. Lots of folks talk to babies in the womb, and education is preventative for Alzheimers and dementia.

10. really? it's possible to challenge the brain of a zygote?
How about of a fetus of 3 months? Ridiculous. And sure, there's something to be said for talking to a baby in the womb. I did it myself. I also played music for my baby while still in the womb- but not when he was a zygote or in the first trimester.

9. Hey does that mean they may start
listening to Mozart while pregnant? Odd for the part of the party that likely doesn't support giving pregnant women basic healthcare.

11. Come on people. Let's compromise!
We'll let Republicans develop and administer the educational curriculum from zygote till birth. Then we'll take it from there. Sounds fair.

15. If he did without the bullshit conception part of it, I'd agree completely.
We definitely need to have a culture of lifelong learning in this country that doesn't currently exist. Still, he could've easily done it without dragging abortion needlessly into the comment.

18. "Zach Wamp" sounds like a character in a
John Grisham novel, and his statement is so outrageous a fiction writer's editor would suggest that it be removed as too implausible. What a dumbshit.

21. Publicly funded education _should_ be lifelong. It's health care that needs to be
from conception to grave. Not sure how I can educate a zygote, but I do know how to keep one healthy and that is to keep the mother healthy.
