"Despite all the talk of transparency..." WTF, CNN??
Edited on Wed Jan-21-09 11:23 PM by Connie_Corleone
First, CNN files a complaint because there was no camera during the second oath of office, even though there were reporters, audio and a photo released of it.

NOW, Knucklehead Ed Henry is complaining because some of the White House meetings are closed to the press!!

WTF! Use some damn common sense, media. Or did you lose it all during the Bush years?

Is CNN going to whine every time Obama has a meeting in his office without the press?

1. I thought it was me, and had I heard him right?
WTF! The president keeps his promise for transparency, but suddenly that means he's supposed to open up every meeting with his staff and cabinet members to the media? Is he crazy?

2. It's a known fact.....
....that CNN has meetings and they do not invite Obama to them. Should he file a complaint?

7. Time for the FCC to tighten up those media ownership rules, and break up the media oligopoly.
Too many righttards control too much of our media - it's time they're forced to sell some cable stations, TV stations, radio stations, newspapers, etc. etc. etc.

Maybe that will bring about a true free press...

12. Why not just have alive feed cam 24/7 for America??
They could prolly let the day to day business be shown & known, and have another room for top secret meetings.

Why should you pay CNN to see your own government? Put cams in like Congress has.

15. They have no common sense...
It's not like he took the oath in secret, they just didn't want that oath to become the "official" historical oath by video taping it. When the media wants to include video of the President Obama taking the oath of office, they will still have to use the one on the Capitol steps.
